Farm Fun
We have attended many events and had many visitors over the years.
This is a page showing some of the fun we have had with our minis.
This is a photo of the very first time I took my
4-up hitch out for a country drive.  It was a
fun drive but a real learning experience for
me!
Children have enjoyed visiting with o;ur
miniature horses.  The horses are fun to
show, pet, look at and just plain love on.
This was a fun drive we took with a group of
other miniature horse enthusiasts at Long
Beach, WA
We have done a bit of field work with the
minis.  Having the horses work together
pulling harrows, or logs, teaches the pairs
how to work together as a team.
Competing at shows and Combined Driving
events has been a big part of the way we
have enjoyed our horses.  How we compete
has been a big pinfluence in  the way we
train our horses, as well.
Our horses are safe enough for children to
drive them and compete with the horses at
shows.
We do all of our own training of our horses
Watching the foals being born and
watching them grow up has brought
us many fond memories.   Each
horse has been welcomed, loved,
and trained to be a good friend to
people.
Participating in parades in the northwest has
also been a big part and fun part of our
adventures with miniature horses.  This is a
photo of Jim driving one of our pairs at The
Toppenish, WA. parade held in July.
